Mod is great, but after 34 turns, around 1093 AD (ive changed timescale) mod became almost not playable. In the beginning i had to wait like 55 sec for my turn. Now it takes 1.40, 2, even 2.10 min.
I pressed "next turn", then i took a piss, i fed my dog, then i returned to the game and i still had to wait for 10 more seconds. So, is there any way to make it a bit faster ? Cause im inpatient person and it drives me crazy.

Just the usual really, makes sure its the only program running (eg turn off youre internet, messenger, anti virus and firewall, downloading software, etc... if youre playing single player you dont need them on)

Also toggle fow off and select dont show enemy moves so you dont have to watch enemy moves.

turn off campaign shadows and you could play with the files to remove the new merchant ships and trade carts that came with the mod as they are more demanding on youre system than the vanilla ones.

That should speed up AI turns.

It is also a good idea to defrag youre hard drive as sometimes fragmented files can really eat away at youre computers performance

There are plenty of threads on this already that give suggestions on how to improve performance. Please use the search function next time before posting

wow you took a leak and fed your dog in 130 seconds, so efficient. I upgraded my PC recently, and my turn times are drastically reduced. Also, as Caeser mentions, there are numerous threads addressing this already form a technical persepctive, but if that still doesn't mitigate your ADD, then I would suggest; stop playing the game, and switch to something more to your personality, like a First Person Shooter
