It sounds like the game isn't compatible with your video card. If you running an ATI, Nvidia or an Intel card this isn't a problem you only get this if your using an S3 or Matrox video cards.

I've never played the game but from the screeshots the graphics look rather simplistic. Do you know what video card your using? If not do the following

Start>Run>DxDiag click on the display tab and tell me what is says in the Device Box. Also if you have any more info on the error message that might also be helpful.

If it's just your display settings causing the problem. Right click on your desktop, select properties, select the settings tab and adjust your video settings to fit the size required. Otherwise you have more serious issues.

Not sure I understand what your saying... Are you running Vista, per chance? Vista I haven't a clue about, short of sending folks to the Vista help thread in the MTW2 section.

I'll look on my daughters laptop, and see if thats what your looking at, as soon as I can.
