    Default Japan ("Shogun") mod?

I was wondering if there is a total conversion that takes place in feudal Japan, i.e. Shogun: Total War? And if not, is there one for Medieval II? I'd like to go back and play Shogun but I don't have the discs... so if there's an 'upgraded' iteration for Rome or M2 I'd like to check that out before hitting the bargain bins or ebay.

    Thanks for the help

There is in fact, and a very good one. Ran No Jidai is a mod in development for a total conversion of Rome: Total War - Barbarian Invasion. The time frame for release is at this point unclear, but work continues it would seem, and impressive work at that!

Read more about it at this sub-forum for the mod:

There is one for RTW called Battles of Asia (BoA), described as the Shogun on a RTW engine. You might like to try that out.

Dude, seriously. If you have like, Medieval: Total war, you can totally play I mean almost Shogun: Total War, but definately better and stuff?

    Look here:
    http://forums.totalwar.org/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=105

It's awesome I've tried it out. There's heaps of additional clans and all the cool features from Medieval: TW.

Oh btw you also need Viking Invasion.

I'd recommend Blue Lotus, it's much more fun with a campaign
