    Default Change phalanx spear??

    Hi all!

Anyone know how to change the skin/model of phalanx spear? I just found that phalanx units don't use the model and skin of their primary weapon (the spear). It always looks the same no matter what I do, unless I remove the phalanx attribute.

I want to make the spearhead like this =>

The Phalanx attribute uses a 'magic' spear this is so the kill zone of the Phalanx is set (long or short) ..I don't think you can have Phalanx with your own spears, not that I've ever heard of any way...

But that spear you see for the short_pike or long_pike does exist as a model and texture which can be edited. It is in data/models iirc. So you could change that. Of course, if successful, you`ll have the new one for all units with the long/short pike attribute in EDU.

Oh yeh, ''weapon_hoplite_pike_high/low. Remember if you do edit them that apart from what florin said 'that all phalanx pikes will be your edited version', that you'll have to keep them the same length as the originals, otherwise the enemy units won't engage at the end of the pike..
