    Default Royal Bloodlines

    hey all,

alright so I'm trying to keep my bloodline pure (racist jokes aside) so say you start with 1 king and he has 1 son ( who is obviously the prince) and say you marry another factions princess, will you keep the of "whatever bloodline trait", lose it , or would you then have the of"whatever bloodline trait" AND the new princesses bloodline trait , so say you would have "of english blood" AND "of French blood" for your new princes kids. or would you only be able to marry your prince to a nobody wife from your country to keep your blood "pure"

just a little confused and would appreciate any advice/help.

    Thanks,

I think you only has one blood (the male). If the wife is of another blood, you will have the "relation" trait.

Do what I do and revive the great tradition of inbreeding . You can't marry direct siblings, but everything else is fair game.

Otherwise your royal blood slowly filters out...

what a great first post eh?

I recently started adding "Of ____ blood" to sons of a princess. A princess that you control/controlled that is. Seems fair to me since she's marrying some nameless bum, so any child descended from them I give the "Of ____ blood" trait, helps to ensure the bloodline carries on. Of course if I'm playing as Genoa, I do one better and steal a Venetian general since their trade bonus is better than Genoa's. Than I try and have them take over the Republic of Genoa

Open console and type the cheat. For example, give_trait Henry Royal_Blood_Sicilian. that should do the trick. Good luck

    thank you ,

I've been trying to give it too them by opening console and doing the " give_trait this Of French Blood" but that hasn't been working so I'll try out that method. thanks for quick response and the example of what to type.
