I can enumerate my opportunities in this sphere and you wiil be able to inform me, what you would like me to do in first turn.
So for the mod I can:
1) identify the most obvious and absurd mistakes ramained from the original game;
2) provide you with genealogical trees of Russian princes for your historical family trees project
This also may help in correction of Russian names list, because names of the original one often sound senseless and unnatural for Russian speakers;
3) find and post here or in other threads you'll show me images of Russian ancient warriors reconstructions, pictures depainting them, their weapons and so on.
4) post here and/or send you portraits of Russian princes (mainly imaginary as there is no ones of that epoc, but done in classic manner). There are also some true tzars' portraits and even archeological reconstructions of several princes' appearance (faces) - you could benefit from this if doing new characters icons (portraits) and tweaking 2D arts for Russian factions.
5) post here and/or send you images of original Russian arms just as arms of other countries (for instance, France).
6) make a list of Russian celebrated governors, commanders, artists, battles, events of that epoc and comment on them, if you'll need.
7) describe for you (and for forum readers may be) the main aspects of the political, social, economic and cultural sutuation in Russia of the epoc under consideration. May be it'll help you anyhow.
8) provide you some analogic information about Byzantian Empire as its culture was quite close to Russian one at that time (at least in comparison with Western catholic countries).
8) translate all we'll do into the Russian language.
9) test the mod and report about bugs found.
10) may be something other that you ask me if I'll be able to do that

Wow...
I'd recommend that you open a 'Faction thread: The Rus(sians?)/people of Novgorod/Kievan Rus' (whatever you feel is appropriate) to fill with your ##1-7.
There already exists a faction thread for the Byzantine Empire for your #8a (you had two 8's).
Everything concerning #8b (the translation) belongs into this thread.
have some +rep, by the way!
Cheers,
D.

I'm soory. My post should have had 11 clauses insteas of 10. But I hope it's not so important.
I have just opened a new "Slavonic" thread and repeated there what I can do. Anyone of the HRR team, who is in charge for such matters, can express there his requests.
Concerning Byzantia, I have some propositions that will be expressed in the appropriate thread in the near future.
As for translation, I consider I will be worth doing only for v.0.8 as many of those Russian gamers I acquainted with are disagree with the current state of the builduing roaster and are waiting for the next version of the mod.
Alright!

Hoi,
like Dimitri said, you're quite right. But in Germany are also some players, who didn't learn English, for whatever reason. So, they see the mod, think, that it would be great, to play with the German states, and then, they just see English texts, and they often don't understand, what the advisor wants them to do.
But with a German translation, the German people, that can't speak English (or are to lazy to play an foreign-language mod ) can also have fun with this great mod, that zooms especially in German history.
So, as you wrote bevor, it makes people happy.
Btw, great that the mod will be translated into Russian, too.
Good luck, d'Asseaux.
Greetings
hey guys, unfortunately the links to the german translation download on gamefront are disabled.
can you plz post an updated one? that would be nice
Yeah, a new or updated link would be great

Btw its such a pity this ambitious mod is obviously dead!!!
EB II is finally out! ...NOW!!!...
Danke, aber jetzt, da ich rausgekriegt habe, wie man die 0.8-Beta zum Laufen kriegt, hat die Übersetzung keine Priorität mehr.
Thanks, but now that I've figured out how to bring the 0.8 beta to work, the translation is not the top priority anymore.
Yeah, it's really sad that the new, much better map was never realised.

Maybe someone will come back to this mod someday. We should be happy it was given up in a playable state, after all.
The german translation link wont work, can anybody post a working one please?
