Between turns

I was wondering what is your favorite ocupation till the AI makes his turns?
Lately, as I progress into the campaign and the pauses become even greater, I love to smoke a cigarette and drink a beer. That is why I can't play more than 10 turns per day .

i usually strum on my guitar or play with my desktop toys (namely magnetix etc...)

but turns dont usually take too long if you dont remove fow and dont watch enemy moves

Its on from about 9.30pm to 1.30am here in Aus.. if i manage to play on other times i get my work laptop going next to my pc playing some flight of the conchords/scrubs/random movies etc

and on topic, my turn lasts about one (and half) min, with fow turned off, so not much time to do anything special

I switch of my brain and it only feels like a split sec.

The worst is when there is crusades and you got follow ai on. It can take forever as the turks seeing one after another walking trough your lands to reach cairo.

Some weights or a bit of studying sometimes some medieval history dosumentaries from the History Video thread kind of sets the tone for the game quite nicely. - who says men can't multitask, GAMING men can multitask their asses off.

I check e-mail and watch vids on my laptop. I'll also eat, grad another rye and coke, or beer. Smoke a cigarette, let the dog out. Sometimes I'll go to the store, which is only a block away, and come back after my turn has already come up.

I play SS on my laptop, next to my PC, so I will usually have some Family Guy or Futurama (or midget porn) playing to take the edge off.

Only in late game though when each turn takes 3 minutes plus, when things start out it's not so bad, less than a minute easily.
