    ..........

    Battle for Anatolia

For all the days in my live I had never had one so decisive. Of all the years that we were at war, never had they raised an army so big.

Their king personally led the army deep intro our lands. Desperate as we were we assembled two armies. Our Greek allies had send troops to aid us against this onslaught. And still we were vastly outnumbered. We had no choice, we couldn’t sit in our cities waiting for them, many innocent people would die that way. So we decided to face them in the open, so we marched, we were the last hope of our nation. We could spot them far away, we could see the black smoke in the sky, we saw the big monster in the distance and we marched.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Our armies met in a valley so beautiful so peaceful, we hid most of our army in the woods on our side. Our enemies had to walk over open ground to get to us, fatal for most of them. Our ognars fired, and fired again, and again and again. Archers fired upon my order to kill those still standing. But all our actions seemed to do nothing as the big monster did not shrunk.

The order was given and the soldiers of Pergamum marched forward accompanied by the allied Greeks. The first line of the monster was made out of Persians. There were Hillman guarding the flanks, and their hoplites marched securely behind them. And when the men were close enough I gave the order to charge their lines. The fighting begun and both our phalanxes were kept out. Their phalanx which was vastly superior then ours were sitting ducks for our missiles.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Fighting continued on the front line and it continued a few hours. By this time my soldiers heavily outnumbered their Persian counterparts. Their lines began to brake. So they send in their phalanxes, when their phalanxes had reached the battle I sounded the retreat of our troops, and ordered my phalanx to engage theirs. As the lines closed once again we begun to flank them, they had no spearmen left to hold the flanks, and their cavalry was quickly beaten.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

From this point on we were superior to them. Hoplites ate their phalanx at their flanks, and my cavalry charged their backs numerous times. In all this their general thought he was immortal, charging our lines, diving in our spears. For some strange reason the gods decided to let him live. Their soldiers were now fighting fiercer than ever before seeing this. Minutes later their leader was slain. It didn’t took long before their whole army routed. We killed every men left, chasing the fleeing men, and stabbing them in the back. Once we killed every last men at their artillery, we returned back to our tired men.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Looking at a field filled with the dead, we took our own and returned back to our homes. Word spread that the other army was retreating and our other forces were chasing them to the border. With our survival we knew we had to strike back and take their lands, securing our homeland from invasions, we knew now was the time to rise.

    THE END

    ..........

thats it, I hope you enjoyed reading and watching my first AAR.
I'd like some tips, and other helpful things.

A AAR that has beautifully photoshopped pictures and great huge looking battles? I would have to say, that is one hell of a AAR, you got there. Good luck with it!
