Scandinavian Countries

So, we have Denmark and Norway. What about Sweden? Sweden was like formed via the Kalmar Union in 1397. So, maybe in a future version, you guys could create a Sweden faction which can be played in a Late-Campaign starting in 1397, when Sweden was formed....Would be cool.

Just an idea, I'm pretty happy with the mod the way it is now.

Actually that's not bad idea. I guess it's possible to do it. Something like mongols...they could arrive as horde...but that means another faction slot. Since it's hard coded the only way to do it is to remove an existing faction. Desert tribes maybe?

They are a bit useless (to me, that is). So, maybe like a file could be included with the rar that installs the faction (if you want it), and if you don't than just ignore it.

I just think it'd be cool to play Sweden. Norway is alright, I just started a new game with them. And, Sweden would be a nice addition.

This next idea might sound hard to implement into the game, but these are some talented guys working on this mod. If Sweden were to be included, if you play one of the Scandinavian factions, you could somehow form the Kalmar Union....would be hard, I think. But, just an idea I'm throwing out.

With Denmark and Norway the North is allready pretty crowded, don't you think? Don't get me wrong, another european faction would be cool, but then you would have to redo the map.
That is what I like about the DLV - Europa map. No more Americas and more space for the "european" carnage
(even though I'd prefer a map with an extended north, but I shouldn't complain as I'm completely inept to do something even approximately similar good )

It's not that crowded Stockholm is a rebel town at the start. So, Sweden could get Stockholm and nothing really changes...except that we get a new faction

Besides the faction limit, I don't think Sweden is a must-have. Don't get me wrong, I'm really into nordic factions but we already have Denmark and Norway which are almost identical factions except for one single unit. How would Sweden be different? I don't think they'd get something really special and unique about them, would they?

Good point. But....I like Sweden Denmark and Sweden ftw. Norway is ok, but....I like Denmark and Sweden more....although in a game, I doubt it makes much of a difference which country I like more.
