Sega is not owned by Nintendo. Sega is owned by Sega Sammy Holdings which is a public listed company.

I have to say it is a bit funny seeing Sonic on a Nintendo console, all those years of bitter rivalry and school playground arguments over who was better, 'Nintendo or Sega', 'Mario or Sonic'.

Do you SERIOUSLY still think sonic is better than Mario? there hasn't been a good sonic game for a long time and the sonic/mario war ended when Mario 3 came out not to mention all stars mmmm. Mario ftw.

Also Farnan, I'd be more worried with the kind of fans Sonic has garnered, as well as the direction the games have been taking. They keep throwing in these silly new characters and taking it to really strange directions.

One upcoming Sonic Game has him able to transform into some sort of "Were Sonic" that has the gameplay feature hack and slash like Devil May Cry, and I think either that one or another one has Sonic with a Sword.

I was always a SEGA fan back in the day and that just seems out of place. Though I will love to play this game to kick Marios ass with that character.
