    Default Generals age

Okay this is one thing which causes me to stop playing medieval total war every time i start playing.

    The problem

    Stupid general ages

Like i bought the vanilla gold edition of the game and my generals are aging at half a year every two years, I do not like the two year system to begin with but why can't the generals atleast age properly.

This is a pet peeve and I really wish it could be resolved, because it bugs me to the point that i always stop playing.

Let's just hope they were fascist communist kittens who were on their way to international fascist communist fair.

If you change the timescale, events still work completely fine. Events go by year, not turn.

Theres another way of changing it that involves changing the seasons (as age levels in winter), though i'm not sure how its done, I just remember reading it in another thread. I remember the only side effect it had was devastation never healed over, but other than that it caused generals to age properly.

Yes its easy to change to time span and it wont effect the events.

The thing that buged me about changing it was, that it takes very long to get these events.

why would u have a problem with generals aging slower? The real problem is when they age too fast. If you really hate it then change it to sumthing like 1 year for 1 turn or 1 year for 2 turns. The game events will come a bit quicker but u probably won't notice
