I saw the E3 '08' live and saw what they are planning and it's awesome in my opinion but I want to know what other people might think.

It's a paper tiger. The PS3 hasn't justified it's large price tag yet. It's well known that all multiplatform games look better and perform better on the 360. But don't let me hijack your thread, I liked the first Resistance. It was fun, but I thought at the time they had a lot to improve on so maybe they will put out a great game this time around.

Not to take this off topic, since I thought this was what this thread was about, but is Killzone 2 seriously still not out?

This was their "killer app" that was supposed to get everyone to buy the PS3, I thought it was supposed to launch soon after the system.

Now here it is 2 years later and we haven't seen anything new.

You guys should've watched the E3 "08" live previews. Everything was explained all your guy's questions were outlined

Well Resistance 1 was a above average shooter which a story that is kinda stupid.
Mean they capture the main character and put him in a prison and yet they let him keep all his weapons. What the hell ??
And these things are taking over the world.
Only hope that they make the friendly AI better and more useful this time around.
Having them as a meatshield ruined everything.

Yeah, the one thing they had down perfect was the weapon variety. they had some really cool guns, I still remember WTFing when I first faced the enemies with the guns that can shoot through walls. As you can tell, I know little of the game besides just playing it for awhile, I don't own a PS3 I just played co-op at my friends house a few times.
