Want to see Britain in the next version...

Ok fair enough the native British history was short at that time but imagine if we took those 3 settlements and made it a land of new beginning. From a bunch of native people you could expand your villages and then invade europe. It does'nt have to be completely accurate... Im playing as Armenia and plan to invade Parthia soon.

Although there is a bigger map in RTR one of the places that is made bigger is'nt even populated [by the player].

Romans are an all empire story...
Greeks are a survuval stor...
Britain should be the new beginnings story...

Is'nt there a mini mod for this?

The ExRm (3.3.3) mod adds the Brithish, Galatians and Epirotes it's won of the best mods I've played. Its harder than the originall RTR-PE 1.9. It auments unit cost etc.. Take a look if that is what u would like http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=86638

How to run the Game under rtw.exe

How to run this under RTW.exe:
1) Open export_descr_units.txt
2) Delete all instances of shield_wall (should be none in 3.3.3)
3) Delete all instances of can_swim
4) Delete all instance of schiltrom

Yep, it'll work with RTW if you follow those steps. We've got Britain instead of Pergamon because the mod's creator (Candelarius) was/is as big a Britain fan as you are.

Is it possible for someone to fit the entire export_descr_unit file into a post cause mine is corrupted and wont let me enter battle against macedonian pikemen.

Huh? THe British Empire is a good 1600 years from RTR. Roman rule was not a very big part of their history at all. We Brits are a mere blot on the Roman page.

its platinum and Exrm really... Platinum I had a macedonian pikemen model error and Exrm I had a strat_general problem or something like that. Its just really annoying having to copy and paste different folders and that.

Ok, why don't you tell me how you went about installing the ExRM, from RTW-BI installation through now? Maybe we can pinpoint the problem.

I install Rome TW... patch it to 1.3 to 1.5, works fine. Install RTR platinum 1.9... 1st problem Macedonian pikemen model error. *Hmmm is'nt even in the export_descr_unit... ok in Exrm it will replace it anyway...* After installing Exrm I patch it to the latest version where it can no longer find the mount model.

to delete the text you mentioned I went onto edit and replace text... typed in the text e.g. can_swim moved the cursor down to where it said replace. I then left it blank so it would dissappear.

Im lost with whats going on...

Oh, don't install RTRPE. It's already included, and bad things happen when people try to install both. Also, how are you installing them? Does you directory look like the sample one provided?

yeah i tried a fresh install and had a barb_strat_general.cas error. ill remove the directory and use a new one.

grrr... same error even after throwing Exrm straight in. So the problem is Exrm itself.
