I know of three active mods
Europa Barbarorum II
Italia Invicta (focusing on the Italian peninsula during the immediate aftermath of the founding of the Roman Republic)
Agon: Rebirth of the Hellenes(focusing on Classical Greece)
None have yet been released though.
