Default Call of Duty 4 Movie

Sorry If I got you thinking about a real movie

But, I was pondering about this for a long time. Do you think it's possible to make a machinma full length 2 hour movie using Call of Duty 4? The game is nearly designed like a movie, and there is a way to capture footage (like RTW's movie_cam.)

Is it possible? If so, will we have to cut anything out? Discuss!

I've seen those before, and that's what inspired me to bring up this topic.
But I'm talking about like a whole 2 hour film if possible.

How in the world do they make those. That second one was a good job. I thought when it said they did their own audio it would suck but their lines were good. How's it possible to do that?

The PC version supposedly comes with some type of Cinematic editor. I heard it's actually very easy to use.

Ok, to start some discussion hopefully, do you think it's possible to start the movie out with with Soap's training? Jackson is only alive for 1/2 the story so I think we might need to cut him out, focusing on Soap.

The Retaliation series is very well done, and Call of Duty's graphics and motion capture really make it seem real. However, CoD lacks the ability to make facial expressions or to move the lips of the player . Given that, I think a film would get silly after a while.

There are ways, supposedly. But it takes a bit of skill of anyone with Photoshop but I think it can be done.

Tomorrow I will post what I think the first part of the plot should be, I hope to see many discussions on it.

They call this war a cloud over the land. But they made the weather and then they stand in the rain and say ****, it's raining!

That's the thing, they don't have a face. The CoD skins with facemasks on work well enough, but those without just look like they're bobbing their heads up and down.

Hey, at least you have the nerve to play games anymore My games are so old I can't stand playing them for more than 2 hours at a time.

To all who are concerned, do you think I should e-mail Infinity Ward about their reaction/opinion if someone was to make this?

I doubt you'd get a reply opinion-wise, but if you're worried about any legal issues I shouldn't bother. Most games companies love having their fans create a good video with their stuff, it's great publicity. Look at Red vs Blue, Microsoft even have even licensed the Halo songs so that people can use them for free too.

Well, Infinity Ward seems a bit more friendly to their fans unlike companies like EA and LucasArts. Although you might be right, I think they might have the nerve to atleast reply with something.
