@dvk, Yep, rename Phokis, they never did amount to much other than being another member of the Aitolian Koinon/league.

Boiotia on the other hand did remain independent and even helped the Romans against Macedonia and again when Sulla besieged Athens.

I think that 4 units for the Aitolians are absolutely great to have. Besides, they were the second largest union in Greece at that time, and some would call them first.

The latter became a colony between 500 and 400 BC.

300 BC : Reinforcement of the commercial circuits against repeated attacks by the Celto-Ligurians: foundation of colonies at Tauroeis (Le Brusc) and Nikaia (Nice).

That list of Free Greek units and mini-factions is very helpful for me...is there one for the Barbs as well somewhere? Or have I just missed (can't find) it?

Currently working on the Boiotian koinon mini faction... Found some interesting shield designs for them and also the fact that one of the two linothorakes' actual finds we have are from a tomb in Boiotia. Hence I think it would be easy to give linothorakes to all units of them that should have it and one (max) bronze cuirass.

"Boiotian" shield is the egg shaped one with some small indents on the side which supposedly were used for spears to be held in. However it was phased off by 600 BCE, with only its shape being drawn on shields as a reminder of former glory and as an Identity marker.
