New Name
Ok well guys I have a little delema. See the Medieval 2 Democracy game is not the same game in overall structure we will begin to play soon. So, I wish to ask your opinion of a name change. I have a few ideas. If we were to be the Byzantines we could put You are Augustus or You are Caesar. Or for the HRE we do Das Heilges Romishes Reich. Give your opinions.

So do I. I was thinking more like a different name change like maybe for england. The Emerald Isles. Or perhaps for the Byzantines: Caesar Augustus or somthing.

I agree, this lets us play M2tw like a real nation, and I love role playing, so if we are, lets say we end up as the HRE, in that case I would say something like the heirs of Charlimain.

The emerald Isle is Ireland, not England. So I would suggest against that for an English name.

For the Byzantines:
Justinian's Dream
Caesar Augustus seems a little too... old Roman.. and too conventional to boot.
For HRE:
Otto's Legacy (as in Otto the great) That might be a little obscure.. but its better then Sons of Charlemagne. The HRE seems much too different from the Frankish Empire.. I don't know, in my mind the two are very different, disconnected. That could just be me and i have been known to weird.
