I liked the online play of Resident Evil Outbreak, as limited as it was. I have good hopes for this genre.

I heard it three months ago when I was playing Half-Life 2. It seems like the zombie town in HL 2, but you can play as zombie boss this time.

saw the E3 video on game guru looking for a link right now

but apparently is a zombie survival horror game with a dynamic "director " AI which changes lighting, sound, camera angle, and difficulty according to your behaviour ; so you get the whole zombie movie experience; being a great fan of zombie apocalypse and planning for one personally; I find this game irresistable.

post any links you find gameguru has the E3 video but im sure you could just look it up -- half life and team fortress company is releasing this nov on 360 and pc

Zombie games are a rare thing.
Atleast FPS zombie games.
Considering the number of zombie mods there are for half-life 1 and 2 it is not surprising that someone finally see that there might be a market for a zombie game.
I'm looking forward to this game since I'm a zombie fanatic.

But I don't really understand how they can change the camera ??
It's a FPS for crying out loud.

I Opened a thread on this a while ago and it looks very good especially the director to bad that they have changed the apperance of the characters and the video is here

Makes the character looks like the outbreak was something recent.
It has a certain charm I suppose but this requires the game to actual set up the entire break out.
Otherwise it won't make sense.
Before it looked like they have survived for months and you can pretty much just throw you right into the game without having to setting up the backstory.
The game will still no doubt kick ass(atleast I hope).

Seriously, why did they redesign the characters?

The biker has lost his grizzliness and pudge belly, the veteran lost his wicked beard, the teenager thrown into a zombie outbreak is now some Latina crack whore and the black guy, well he isn't stereotypical anymore. He looks more like Dave Chapelle, L4D needs an angry black guy with jheri curls who can get things done.

There is a walkthrough on gametrailers.
Despite the change of characters the game looks great.
Looks like they changed the source engine a bit, looks darker which I like.
That things are random each time is awesome.

I nearly forgot about this game when I saw Gametrailers had two new gameplay videos.

I did not find the graphics good at all, but I guess they rather go the Counter Strike/Wow way with their graphics. The gameplay did not look so good either. I am a little sceptical but I loved Valves last games and I hope this game will be equal to previous games by Valve ( even if it is made by the Condition Zero dudes ).
