Default Will the Reunited Kingdom fall?

My enthusiastic and hearty congradulations to the FATW for making the RK campaign hard. I'm making a couple of small adjustments to it (making elves retrainable, making [all] memorials grant +x happiness from law, swapping the RK specific export _descr_unit file for the main campaign one and adding a few reinforcements...the first two being played with in the 2.5 version, the last to make Gondor's situation not quite so desperate. Still grim...but it is hoped that it will be possible.)

Still. Anyone playing the Reunited Kingdom has a very serious struggle ahead of them to regain Ithilien. As it should be.

I'm thinking about an AAR. The problem is, as stated with my first idea (to do one for Rohan) is that I can't write a storylike one very well. So does anyone have thoughts on this?

Again, my hearty congradulations to the team. If this isn't Middle Earth in all its glory, I don't know what is.

"It has been over two thousand years since the rise of the rightful king of gondor returned to us and the dark lord sauron fell. all the men of Dunidanic and Gondorain blood rejoiced that day, for it seemed that this new age, the fourth age, would be a age of new light, where the darkness would be gone and all wars that men slew each other for, would cease to exist. Ellasar, true heir of Elendil united the kingdom of gondor and arnor, and took to heights of glory that, in the darkness of Mordor, had been all but forgotten. Yet now, in the 211th year of this 4rth age, an age thought to be destined for immortal peace the reunited kingdom that the men of gondor dreamed of as they fought for our peoples freedom, is in a war more horrible then any ever before, for the enemy is not mainly orcs, but men, traitorous men, indeed it has become so horrible that even Rohan our oldest and most trusted ally looks at us with no large amount friendship. our survival itself hangs by a thread, and now it will take a leader the likes of which have not been seen since Ellasar, heir of Elendil passed away in peace, to lead our people to victory against this new shadow, this evilest of shadows, the shadow from within." something like that? good luck, I will help you any way I can
"WE WILL SMITE THE INVADERS FROM OUR SKIES! Though they sweep over our lands like the sands of winter, never again will we bow before them; never again endure their oppression; never again endure their tyranny. We will strike without warning and without mercy, fighting as one hand, one heart, one soul. We will shatter their dreams and haunt their nightmares, drenching our ancestors' graves with their blood. And as our last breath tears at their lungs; as we rise again from the ruins of our cities...they will know: Helghan belongs to the Helghast." -Scholar Visari
