Derrida responses to the question: "Why do you say, 'I rightly pass for an atheists' and not 'I am an atheist'?"
I do not want to start another thread about Atheism, but would like to discuss what is philosophically behind that notion "to pass rightly as someone or something".

Listen, and feel free to comment on the philosopher's statements.
These considerations should be a bit easier understandable than the earlier ones, I have posted. The way Derrida talks might sound first strange to you, but if you have some basic knowledge in philosophy, you may try to separate the thoughts being in the background of his statements and his own "derridanian" point of view. That's the way I listen to utterances which appear first hand not utterly accessible to me.
Please, enjoy.
