    Default Problems unlocking factions

Follow everything to the T, but when I try and save the file it says that it cannot be created and to make sure the path/name is correct. Could this have something to do with Vista or what?

Leave it to the modder to perfect the works of the paid developers for no profit at all.

I've heard someone say that this works for Vista, but i'm not a Vista user, so im not entirely sure on this.

-Copy the file to another directory as a backup.
-Edit the file, but when saving, go Save As and enter a different name (adding something like a 1 on the end should do, nothing complex).
-Copy the editted file into the directory where the descr_strat (or whatever its called) originally was.
-Delete the original file (make sure you've got your backup uneditted elsewhere).
-Rename the editted file back into the name of the original file.

I think I heard this in another thread and it worked for someone, so give it a shot.
