This is the first installment of a trilogy and a demo of it came out today on the 360... first of all the demo was pretty fun the only problems that i had with it are the camera controls, but i wasn't used to it because the right stick usually used for the camera is now used for the fighting in the game.. innovative, kinda clunky but still effective but sometimes you can just point it in one direction and kill 5 enemies with just holding it.. i almost died a couple times due to the mini bosses that have shields and this big gigantic robotic thing where you have to destroy various spots on its body to actually kill it.. it was really fun

the beginning of the demo was pretty hard but all rpgs are since you have crappy equipment.. and i must say the cinematics are spot on, they are amazing.. the voice acting of some characters is laughable but others are really good, idk how that could of happened... the graphics are ok for this generation, not the best but the backdrops are beautiful when you visit Asgard in the flashbacks, its the beginning of the game and no major spoilers... i was a bit confused with the beginning of the story though...

the character you play, Baldur, is pretty bad ass, the only reason i think so is because the lines hes got in his face that glow blue... lol

all in all it was a pretty fun demo, i'm thinking of picking this up when it's released in august, for others who have an Xbox 360 and live, download the demo and check it out.. it may not be for everyone but i enjoyed it..

idk for 14 years of planning they could have at least got better voice actors... but i do like to color coordinate my armor... lol

well this game takes a lot on Norse Mythology so if you like the struggle between Odin and Loki you'll like the story and how instead of having magical power, the "gods" are powered by their armor and other mechanical stuff that they use.. and the goblins are now robots..

This game looks like a watered down version of an action RPG, which is what it is. You have about 5 classes or something.

Two things really kept popping in my mind while playing. first: Mass effect, not only does it uses the same engine, the monsters even look very similar.

Second, the game is clean, you can actually tell there is some work that went in here.

Overal i like it, it feels more like diablo that hellgate ever could. The story proberly wont be half bad and the controls can work i quess with some conmitmend.

Wow, this is finally coming out? I remember getting all pissed about this when Silicon Knights was bought out by Microsoft. Looks pretty good, hope it is, I don't have Live so I can't try the demo, guess I'll just wait to see what people think.

its pretty fun, not game of the year material but very enjoyable... i played it again and actually explored more and i found some stuff to build some armor and damn did it look good..
