    hi guys i thought i would post this in the hope some one might have an idea on this.
    OS.Vista home 32bit
    Mother board.Asus republic of games.
    CPU.Pentium 4.core duo.3gzt/3gtz
    Vidio card7900 GTX Bliss.500mb
    Power supply corsair.620watt
    Crucial Balistics 2gig DDR2
    Zalman cpu fan.
    gaming score.proceccor.5.6/ram5.9/Graphics5.9/Gaming Graphics5.9/primary hard disk5.6/Bace score/5.6

    yesterday i sufferd a two ctds one when i was playing RS i got a Bsod and the other when my pc was just idle.
    i went in too my device manager an looked in to find a have an un-know device so i right clicked on the Un-know device/driver info/
    The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

    so do not it says it is a creative gaming port?
    in device i went to sound,vidio and game controlers/creative sb Audigy 2 ZS/driver/driver details. at first i found that all but one of the sigs had no green tic.so i installed latest driver.restarted/still only one green tick, so i let windows update the driver for me in options,it did this/restated/ went in to device manager/sound/and all the boxes are now ticked?But it is an older driver2006.

    And i still have/other device/ un-kmown device/ PCI bus 6, device 1, function 1

    so i have not had a Blue csreen of death yet but any help would be excellent.

    Well i dont seem to know what the problem is, but you can get CTD for minor things really, its better to keep 2 save's or an autosave aswell as your original going, just to redo the turn if it ctd's again then you can reload the save, as for your system i dont know whether it will affect it or not because the specs are way over what it needs, also try removing some devices from your usb ports that may remove your unknown device, or go to control panel and click "search for new hardware" see if anything comes up.
