    Hi everyone, I suggest the following mod, starting at 1206 and ending in 1405, with 3 turns per year, resulting in 597 turns.

    Good idea. I would cut the map back to Constanople. Giving you more regions to use in the east and also cuts down on unit slots.

    If you go farther west than constanople then you have to include factions that played larger roles in Europe at the time. So if you are going that far east I would rather put the focus of the mod on that part of the map. Also will you make the Mongols playable? Quark and I discussed this in UV mod. If you plan to script armies for the Mongol invasion then maybe they shouldn't be playable as it will be too easy for a player to just walk all over the map. Now I think it would be great to have the mongols crazy powerful and have to pick a faction to try to stop them from burning your land and people. Just something to think about.

    but the Mongols should be playable... that's the whole thing......
    However they will have a hard time at the start, you will have to be wise like Genghis Khan himself if you don't want to be exterminated by the powerful Chinese
