Let me make another example...

In the US there is a state called Delaware. Delaware is named after the Delaware who were an American Indian tribe. Is Delaware stealing the American Indian heritage, or is it just honoring the people that lived there?

Anyways I got a super simple solution:

ROM become RONM (Republic of Northern Macedonia). Does that make everyone happy?

Do the Indians claim Delaware now? Not.

Using the term "North" means that it used to be a single province/state and it's now divided in two. But that's wrong.
