Hello.You no doubt know that Heraclius was very successful challenging several Sassanid generals to duels prior to battles.Can this interesting (brave)tactic be a part of EOR?Maybe it could be scripted from General's bodyguard vs Generals bodyguard prior to "Commence Battle"? Or maybe something to do with Generals' traits(through a Diplomacy mechanism?)?Can a gun modder run with this sort of thing?

it isnt possible but we ntend to give other bonuses for example more hitpoints

ASFAIK, the PreBattle condition does not work. Otherwise it might have worked to give a general, for example, -5 Hitpoints and -10 Command when a battle is about to start as a result of a duell between the lines. Killing him would only be possible when we know his name in advance.

Hey everyone I'm new to EoR and I have to say that I love it. But...

You need to have a centralized grand preview. A have looked all around but I cannot find an up to date faction list or anything like that. All of your threads are so old that their outdated or they're just scattered!

Don't get me wrong I really love what your doing but a little organization would be nice because I can't find anything that talks about map, units, factions, etc.

Also a Grand Preview would get some much needed publicity. And finally, I think that from now on I'm gonna have to start paying some real attention to this mod as it could turn out to be really sweet!

your joking right did you look for 10 mins and give up, our last preview shows the map, and the faction threads show the factions and unit lists. I'm sorry if thats hard for you, it was hard for me at first

We are working on a preview now showing starting spots and a description of the factions

yep the preview will come soon once thats out i will update all the threads the original one with all the info the team thread, i will update the map too. To make a centralized thread, + this new preview isnt much of something to look at it previews the final faction list+ some other stuff

OK maybe I'm in the wrong here but I was just saying that it was hard for me to discern the old stuff from the new stuff. I'm sure the new preview will fix that.
