    Default Jacques Derrida On Prayer

What does Derrida mean with the status of this text remains suppended?
    How does he explain prayers?
What does he mean with, my prayers, if there are such things, have more than one age?
Why is uncalculable hopelessness part of this kind of "praying"?
What does he mean here with the notion "prayer"? Does he mean prayers?

Not available but Derrida was always interesting, if a little difficult to understand at times.

Now, it should work. I placed the urls without the youtube-quoteing marks

I will have a look if there is a written transscript of the Derrida's answers to the questioner.

Derrida's answers are more about subjectivity, forms of lingustic and literar utterances, culture, lifeage and the philosophical tradition he relays to than about what a religious person might expect first hand as an answer to a question of the type "What is your opinion about prayers?"

First and foremost all men and women can pray when the need occurs. The only problem to that is that God does not listen to the prayers of sinners according to John.

So who does He then listen to? To those already indwelt by the Holy Ghost, making the hotline available and answerable, and who as is written already knows what even they will pray for before they do it.

Therefore to them prayer is not something made in desperation when all else fails as is the case with most godless sinners, but an ongoing communication between one part of the body to it's brain that is God.

Indeed Scripturally there is only one time when men and women are required to being on their knees, as it were, and that is when the convictional part of regeneration overpowers them. A broken and contrite heart is the expression God uses.

Then the question must be asked that if a sinner does pray, who then hears it? Indeed who answers it whenever there is an answer? For that there can be but one explanation should you have the eyes to see and the ears to hear.

Which of his answers did like more, which less?
