Info on music?

First off, very cool mod. Thanks for making it.

I really enjoy the music in game and I was wondering if I could get some info on the artists? Particularly the Islam_West_Mobile and the Arab_East_Tension tracks.

Or if anyone has any recommendations of middle-eastern instrumental music of the general type of music found in Broken Crescent please let me know.

Greetings mate, glad you enjoyed the music.

What I recommend in finding middle eastern instrumental music is a bit daunting, but it's highly worth it. If you have the free time to, I recommend simply looking through the Middle East section of International/World Music Genres on both itunes and on Amazon.

What I really did was just click artist after artist and try out a single song. If it caught my fancy, I'd listen to a few more and bookmark the artist. If it didn't, I'd just bypass them. It's a bit of a gamble, but I would usually do a second or third pass through.

A few authors I can recommend:

• Hossein Alizadeh - Amazing Iranian Composer
• The Sephardic Experience - Vivid Mediterranean and especially Balkan music. http://www.amazon.com/Sephardic-Expe.../dp/B00000JH8H
• "The Music of Islam", if you like entirely Pure Middle Eastern music.

Strange, by any chance are you guys located not in the US or Canada? It may be that amazon is exclusive by region.

I use pretty much three different sources. Amazon (Link me to the one you can access, if you use a local one to your nation. Like Amazon.uk), Itunes, and CD baby - http://cdbaby.com/

Living in a small town in Minnesota it is rather rare to be introduced to foreign music or foreign anything. Thankfully we have video games to inject some culture into our lives. Strange days....
