Wow...what was the name of the show? Couldn't believe it would be that gloomly and foreboding...+ rep for showing!
The very impossibility in which I find myself to prove that God is not, discovers to me his existence.

Holding anger is a poison. It eats you from the inside. We think that hating is a weapon that attacks the person who harmed us. But hatred is a curved blade. And the harm we do, we do to ourselves.

wow, cool.
satan sounds an awful lot like Frank the Bunny from Donnie Darko
That's pretty messed up. Not sure exactly where they were trying to go with that, though.

HA posted this a bit back, I really like it.
someone explain how this was allowed to be a kids' show, this would scare the %^$& out of little kids.
The best kids' stories have always been dark and sinister. Look at the Grimm brothers stories or Roald Dahl. Think about every fairytale you've ever heard (not the emasculated Disney versions).
Kids love dark stories. And they love being scared and scaring each other.
I think there may also be a rationale behind scaring children with what are at heart morality tales. They need to be socialized and scared into behaving in a societally appropriate way. Story telling is one of the oldest methods used in this process. (Whether consciously or not).

Man mark twain seems to be extremely cynical. Its like all he talks about it how religion is bad and the human race is doomed.
Hey, I can see the parrelels to some forum members here...
"If you can't get rid of the skeleton in your closet, you'd best teach it to dance." - George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950)
I actually enjoyed the morality of this so-called ' kid show'. It made me question the quality and the meaningness of human existence. I found the way Satan is portrayed as an observer is beautiful. It made me feel disgusted at the so-called human race they had created when they fought over the cow.
We will find a way, or we will make one

It was shockingly emotional and deep..maybe too deep for children...man, even I just watched it with open mouth and round eyes...when Satan destroyed the clay-humans.
Yeah, not appropriate for kids. A bit too dark for such innocent creatures.
Satan is an angel in the Christian Bible, and a beautiful one, BTW (but 'fallen').
