Qustions about PS3...

umm my brother is on a vication to america,he is in New York now and hes going to be in Miami,LA and Las Vegas too.
before he left i told him to buy me the PS3 80GB with MGS4 and DUALSHOCK WIRELESS Controller bundle.
i found it on walmart for 500$,but there is a problam,most of the time its out of stock in NY,Miami,LA and Las Vegas,and im afraid he wont find it.
so my question is if u guys know about another store that sell this prodect for 500$ in those cities.

plz help me,i dont wanna buy the 40GB instead,
btw my brother is going to buy with the bundle another controller,GTA IV,and Bad Company.

Hey OP,

Since you seem to live in another country make sure that a PS3 purchased in America will be compatible with games you can buy in your country. If I'm not mistaken there are two sets of security coding or whatnot...though that might be for PC games only...

I don't know about NY and LA and such, but the PS3 is NEVER out of stock where I live.

Just visit some smaller towns, it will be in.

ok,but you got to understand that my brother is in US and im not!
and he cant go to small towns to buy it,it would take much of his time for other stuff,so i might tell him to go to a store and order it to be in another store in another city/state if possible and then he will buy it for me,
btw the Gamestop store sell it for 500$?
if not im not going to buy it from there.

40gb sucks,the 80gb is much better,and it can read ps2 cd's,moreover im getting with it mgs4 and a wireless dualshock controller.

I dont get it with people with the no backwards compatible I mean I aint bothered i love my 40GB and cos I aint got a HDTV i aint bothered all i have to do is swith over the power cables between the two machines because the scart is the same as the PS2's so its not really demanding and 40GB is still a lot of memory.

i guess ure right,
i talked my brother yesterday,and we decided that if he will find the mgs4 80gb bundle he will buy it,if not,then he will get me a 40gb with 2 wireless dualshock controllers and i will get 2 more games then what i would get if i buy the 80gb.

btw can someone give me the differences of the 80gb and the 40gb?

yeah the 80GB is backwards compatible and 40 GB more memory is all i can think of lol.

i dont care not having the option to play PS2 games on my console,its not that crucial,and i can manage with 40gb,i think thats enough no?

well if there arent some other differences i guess i feel good now about the 40gb.

Tell your brother to check electronic and multimedia stores too, I remember when the first XBOX came out everyone was sold out, but in the music store they had a bunch because I guess nobody knew that the music store sold them also.
