Well, I didn't really like the look of the Holy Roman Empire in this mod, so I redid it a little, replaced some colours really, nothing fancy. I removed most of the white, changed the colour of the shields, redit stuff here and there, and I used the clergymen texture from the Teutonic order faction and added those textures (slightly modified) to the HRE teutonic knights (since I think those skins are bloody awesome, and since I think it's abit silly that the teutonic order looks completely different when the HRE recruit them). I also darkened the peasants etc. etc. Pretty much every unit is changed in some way.

I basicly did this for me and a friend, and not for releasing, but if anyone is interested I could put it up somewhere.

I think the skins for HRE are good now. If you really want to do some skins, do Hungary, or one of the Muslim factions. Even though work is being done to them now. They will be available in a new version of the Y&Y Visual Improvement pack. I will check out your new skins and if i like i may ask for permission to include them too.

I did do hungary quite a long time ago Do a search in this forum and you might find them, they weren't very good though, right now I'm just messing around with the rebel faction abit, just for my own. (changing all that white stuff to brown etc. simple stuff).

That visual improvement thing sounds nice though. got a link?

I agree with scivian. They look good, and anyone who takes the time to do something like this and share it with the community (which entails exposing oneself to the abuse of all who disagree with what one has done) deserves respect.

After putting these in my HRE campaign, my opinion of them has changed a bit. WOW, they are Great...Super Fantastic...Much more my style. I only hope you will work on the other variations. Specifically, Id like to see you take out those striped horses in favor of something similar to the solid black ones.

Well, I don't really have time/motivation to do much work ^^ but for you, I redid the horses a little bit, so you can try them out and see what you think.

Just put the folder in this zip in the data-folder after installing my new skins.

...but the yellow stripes are gone. lol...I think I wasn't very clear...I like the the yellow stripes on your black skins. It was the stripes on the old skins, the far left horse on your screenshot that I was suggesting you replace...not the other ones on the right. If I could be so bold, replace the far left horse skin with the one you made for me, so that both your new skins would show up. Thanks either way they look great.
