    Default A single map?

Is it just me or am I missing something here? I have TNS 2.6 and within the custom battle maps, their is only a single map. Am I missing something here?

I doubt there would just be one. Maybe you had a bad installation or something. But i'm sure Aradan knows.

Did you happen to install the hotfix (links in our forum's announcment threads)? Please do, and then count the custom battles again.

Lack of unit diversity.... How many mods do you know where every faction (apart from clone was obviously as RK and Adunabar - and still Adunabar has Wargs, orcs, uruks, and trolls and cultic units that are different) has a completely different unit roster of 15-20 units?
Lack of unit count.... I see. Well, if your measure of a mod's quality is the number of men in a unit, then yes, by all means, stop playing FATW and do something else! Just a note: you have probably chosen the faction with the smallest unit sizes, as per the lore - try Harad or Rhun I'd say.
Thx for your comments on the campaign detail.

Believe me, we are not expecting positive reviews; each player judges by his standards, which inevitably vary. Our hardest judges are ourselves and we strive hard to keep us satisfied with our level of work. If you don't like the result of our efforts, oh well, that's life - simply delete the "ci" folder.

We do not mind having bad reviews, but disrespectful ones are neither kind nor necessary.

FATW has one of the highest unit diversities of any mod, so I do not understand that point at all.

The single custom battle map? - please read the instructions (inc. hotfixes) carefully

"Lame" perhaps is not a kind word to use when such an enormous amount of work has gone into this - true, much of this release is in hidden details to do with balance but that does not mean any less effort, skill or work has gone into - in fact it means more has gone into it than a purely visual/model enhancement.

Dear. Dear. Years of giving up free time, and such negativity. Do remember we do not charge

I don't mean to be negative though I really do look at high unit counts and a greater selection of unit selection within a mod. EB, Napoleonic Total War 2, European Wars, and Fires of War, has it, as an example. What is the hotfix links that you speak of? I am impressed mostly with the campaign though and intend to give it a full crack.

I am not sure if you need both 2.6 and WoM to get this hotfix to work.:hmmm: I suggest you just download them both.

No, you don't need WoM to get it to work. If you don't have WoM it will just create a useless folder named Batch inside your "ci" directory, which u can delete.

So I'm assuming that Shadows of Man will be alright if I just installed it over the 2.0b version of Fourth Age? I don't have to install patch versions 2.5 and 2.6?

As the WoM announcement says, it requires TNS 2.6.
