Patch 1.2
I have reinstalled my original copy of MTW2 but, when i'm trying to update with the patch to the version 1.2 at the end of the installations it says: localized.pack is damaged or invalid! so i've done a small search on gooogle and i've downloaded anotrher localized.pack! but the problem there is alredy. what can i do?

Reinstall the game, seems like the file got borked during the install.

The best thing to do is to uninstall the game again, then manually delete the Sega folder completely from your computer and then try again.
Wanted for:

i've done it..but i'm completely sure that if now i try to install the 1.2 patch it will give me again that error

Is your Medieval2 dvd, gold edition, or download? What version of 1.2 are you tyring to use to update?

Those are the site Sega is using. Pick one and make sure you get the one for the language of your game otherwise it won't work. I used Filefront for mine.

It seems to be the most stable. Could I give a word caution? Disable anything running in the background, start your download, and go watch a movie. It's over 600mb and something ruins a few of those bytes, you're downloading it, again.

You can find out fast. You have your English M2 installed, right. Try to install your Italian Kingdoms. I believe the answer is no but you can try to prove me wrong. Patch 1.2 is on your Kingdoms disc.
