    All the reviews I've seen give it low scores because it doesn't have flashy graphics and is meant for more "hardcore" strategy gamers. It's an excellent game in my opinion.

    I have now played the demo,It was a bit hard but still fun.

    I've played the American revolution by the same company, IMO its very good, its feels like a much more hardcore and deep Europa universals and its more based on military than on economy and other stuff like that.

    A good strategic simulator (one of the deepest there is on the market right now), but it doesn't have an grand campaign (unit recruitment, diplomacy, etc ...) like it's Predecessor "American Civil War: The Blue and the Grey".

    I got both on the shelf, yet haven't found the time yet to dig deeper and get good at those games.
