CTD while game loads
Alright, I have a bit of a wacky problem. DM 8.0? Runs fine, I can get the game to go, although I have not tried a battle yet.
8.1? I get the loading screen, and then it CTDs and nothing happens.
Please advise...
EDIT: Wait, I may have installed DM in the wrong folder. I may be alright.

Alright, I've got it pinned down here. When I leave it in the default path, the game goes off without a hitch, and I can play Darthmod...even though it's installed in a completely wrong place!
When I go to install it in the right place, (C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome Total War) I get literally hundreds of "Error: Could not create X file" and I have to abort. I'm a bit flummoxed here, can anyone help?

At this point it sounds like your just better getting rid of the troubled installed and re-installing. Making sure you install the mod in the root directory of the RTW install your using.
