    Default Making dead family members

    I think that this have already been said, but I can't find it, so here it goes;

    I want to make that the leader of a faction have a brother and that the brother is the heir. Appart from making de brother a son of leader, is there someway to making a dead father? I think some mods have it.

    Easiest way is just with a campaign script. Add something like
    Code:
    script
    Kill.txt
    to your descr_strat.txt
    Then in a text file in your campaign dir add
    Code:
    campaign_wait 5
    console_command kill_character "Acaeus of_Mycenae"
    end_script
    The min you start your campaign the character will die and whoever was next in the descr_strat will be leader.

    Isn't there a way to mark them as dead in descr_strat.txt?

    Causes a CTD when you look at the family tree. Gotta use a script

    Now you need to add at the end of descr_strat the following code:

    script
    chivalry_startup_script.txt
    ... while the bold code must be the file name of the camp script located in the campaignfolder besides descr_strat.

    The result or purpose is that you'll see these characters as dead dynasty founders at the top of the family tree at the start of the game.

    Requirements:
    - Characters must be coded in the respective factions in descr_strat as usual like other characters (coordinates)
    - Must be married, means, must have a coded woman in the family tree
    - Must be coded proper in the family tree either as father of the leader or father of the women who are married to the leader and heir and other starting characters.

    Any chance for this exam? Very low, because the established Anthropocentrism destroys the basis of existence.

    Is it not easier to send the Father on a suicide mission? The scripting is informative nether the less. I did not know this could be done?
