Rhun soilder model: Third age team come here!!!

ok, so i saw that you guys had zero progress on the Rhun faction, so i tried to help out and make a rhun soilder if you want me to put a link below post here, also, if you are intrested, i have to PM you on some details about the model so as to not spam the forums!!! fellow modellers would be who i would want to talk to regarding model details.

The have unit line for Rhun at last. But all our 3d modellers is makling another factions now. So we'll be thankful if someone help as. Send messege to <Shved>. I think he tells you the same thing

oh yeah, if you do use this, definentlly add spiked shoulder pads, i did but deleted them on acceident, it looks awsome!

so anyone gonna use him, skin him, anything? if so tell me i will PM you the file, and i know hes not great, but the more talented modellers such as king kong, shved, and shredder could fix him up and of course skin him!

Hi SoulReapir,

To be honest, this is not bad for your first unit model but I guess that it isn't good enough so that anyone wants to skin it.
No offence, but it looks more like a dismounted latinkon with much too big weapons and a weird helmet.

Also skinning is not as easy as you think and personally I need more time for skinning than for the actual modelling.

Didn't you want to help with animations, too? I guess that you may have more chances to help there, because it really easier to learn, but still it needs a lot of time to do a good animation.

I agree with King Kong. Animation need simple knowledge, it's easear to lern but took to much time, what the don't have. If you help us it will be good. Cause if we won't have enougth animators we couldn't make hobbit's units for example

ok, i take the critisism with open arms but mind you that helmet took me 3hours, i cant wait untill you have to do a rhun helmet.lol

oh and as for the animation job, uh im gonna have to say no, for now anyway, i just waisted a week of my life learning modeling, just to learn i quite suck at it,

No one said that you would suck at it.
But if you really expect that one week of your life would be enough to make some good modelling, you are surely wrong.
Personally I have "waisted" many many months of my life just to learn a bit of skinning and modelling.
I think you should show some more endurance if you really want something.

^ yes very true, i know what dedication is, and i am going to continue modelling so i can help big red one with his empire tw mod hopefully ill be better by then, its just frustrating, and im sorry for blowing up, and by the way, i do suck right now, ill admit that, but i should get better in the coming months, and by waisting time, i ment learning, i hate learning, youll find that not many modern day teenagers like to learn,lol, but thats life. oh and is there any tips you could give me fore making more complex shapes such as helmets, shoulder pads, ect. or maybe you can just make a video of you making your next third age unit, you dont have to talk or anything, i just wanna see what you do, oh and by the way, stainless steel is brilliant, love the new general models. Also in stainless steel, how did you get the troops so "crush the enemy"? in other words, the units try to bend the enemy frontlines untill they surround them and crush them, before you had to tell your units to do that!
