I think thats what sieges war, a massive push to try and get through the opening, or openings created in a wall.

i personally like it, in that it imitates the drive and motivation to get through at all costs. makes it more interesting.

yeah i don't think it's a bug, the weight of the army pushing froward would create a similar effect. To counter it you need more troops on the defending side pushing back

Just go around the breach with another unit and then hit them from behind. If you are the one attacking, just add more units and pray.

Yeah, like others have said I don't think it is a bug but more of a feature.

It has become one of my favorite features, especially when the Mongols try to enter my gates into the teeth of my Scots' pikes.
