Was the siege push bug ever resolved?

The one where the AI forces its units through your defenses gateway resulting in a massive BLOB of units that pushes everything back and looks retarded as you end up having 1600 men in a tiny little space all running into the backs of one another.

Is there a way to fix this because it's seriously detracting from gameplay. The same thing happens on bridge battles.

In medieval 1 you couldn't cram your entire army through a small doorway, you had to use siege weapons to open up other entry points, or knockdown multiple gateways.

I think thats what sieges war, a massive push to try and get through the opening, or openings created in a wall.

i personally like it, in that it imitates the drive and motivation to get through at all costs. makes it more interesting.

yeah i don't think it's a bug, the weight of the army pushing froward would create a similar effect. To counter it you need more troops on the defending side pushing back

Just go around the breach with another unit and then hit them from behind. If you are the one attacking, just add more units and pray.

Yeah, like others have said I don't think it is a bug but more of a feature.
