Default cheat question, feeling noobish >.<

ok...i'm messing around with an english campaign right now and decided to try and make the ultimate assassin, but his skills are developing...very...slowly...so...

i may seem noobish, but with the cheat
    give_trait_points <charactername> <trait name> <points>

do i type it EXACTLY like that? i've tried numerous ways but its not working for some reason. like for character name...he has first / last name...do i put in a space between them...caps...etc. same goes for trait name (subterfuge for the assasins i think?) and for points do i just put 5...or five... or whatever number

anyway, if this is just an obvious thing that i am missing, forgive me, i'm not a mega total war player like alot of you guys!

Left click on the assassin to select him ( I suggest outside a town so nothing can go wrong ), then open the console and type these -exactly- ( it is CaSe SeNsAtIvE ):

    give_trait this GoodAssassin 5

(press enter then type the next one)

    give_trait this NaturalAssassinSkill 3

(press enter again and close console)

You should of had an "event" tile thing in the lower left saying his skill has gone up, and you should now have an assassin with at least 8 points in his skill. There are more to get but this should get you by...

The <>'s are not needed. If you select the Assassin you want to edit (left clicking on him ), then you don't need to type his name as the game has issues with names sometimes. So Left click the assassin once, then type what I said in the 1st post. ( Using the "this" instead of a name applies the cheat to the character you have selected, which is why you left click on the assassin then type in what I wrote. )
