And to the Hegemonia team: Yes, I am dissapointed by how the progress has been going. But the mod has never died and that's something to admire. I wish you all the best and hopefully a release soon. I've been a supporter since the beginning, "Age of Hellas", in 2005. And I will never stop supporting you guys, bad things happen, even if it takes 3 years. Good luck and I really appreciate the work you have done so far.

This means that for you is right this? I know that it's very difficult to mod but also it's not fair to tell someone for 3 years that this mod will be released shortly. Only in this year they said that the mod would be out in may, then comes may... nothing... then they say that would be out after a short time(If i'm not wrong in september or smth like this) we will see... then you will remember my words

things can go wrong, deadlines can be missed. Also, don't you think there have been enough 'when is this mod coming out?', 'why has it taken so long?' etc threads? Is it so hard to just WAIT???

Sorry to disappoint you all but Hegemonia never had a deadline. It has always been a "when it's ready" mod.

Our goal was always a total conversion mod and from the very beginning, we estimated it would be 1-2 years before an acceptable beta would be released for the public. Well, the two years have become three years. I'm not happy about it, but I don't think I owe an apology to anyone except to all the guys that have been eagerly waiting for this damn project to finish.

I'm sorry but real life doesn't work that way, people come and go, people have a job and some luckier ones even have two jobs (lucky me eh?), and I still try to put in as much work as possible as often as I can.
From 20-30 regular members we are now down to 2-3-4 of the original members and thank god a few experienced modders have joined in the effort for a final push at a release.

Again, sorry to disappoint you all, but I have to work for a living. Want a mod badly ? I suggest you do what someone said earlier and start your own mod. Hegemonia will be released when the team decides it's ready, not because you are getting impatient.

Indeed. All of us have real life commitments.
I have uni 4 days a week, work 3 days a week, and training 3 nights a week. I don't have time to fart, let alone make a mod. I would be proud if I could produce something as good as Heg looks in that time.

whats sad is these jerks that complain about it taking too long would stop and ask themselves if they have 4,3,2,10,42 hours a day to devote to making a mod, they might have a tad more understanding.
