Default Will changing the time scale affect when events happen?

I changed a few lines so there are two turns per year instead of two years per turn. So, by now, I have conquered in 10 years what should have taken 40 years. Continuing at this rate I might conquer the map in 200 years or less, before the discovery of the New World, before the discovery of gunpowder, etc. Will this happen or not?

    yes.
the events are set to happen for 2yrs per turn. If u change the yrs per turn it effects when the events occur.I believe their linked to turns.
so ur events loose the historical time line

look up the event list and alter the numbers under the events to get em back to historical timeline

I beg to differ on that opinion. The events will still fire on the correct dates as they are linked to the years. As the 'vanilla' version had 2 years per turn the events where written that they occurred on even years. They will still fire in those years.
You can edit the events if you want for an event to happen say in 1181 instead of 1180 if you have one turn per year or more turns.

Come to think of it, I wrote that backwards !!!
    Thanks for spotting that.

I remember that when I changed the timescale to .5 events were taking many more turns to occur. I didnt change building times ect, so i had like citidals before the 1st event happened.......

You Are right, i was thinking backwards...LOL

thanks, hopfuly that guy that made this post wont get confused because of me...oppps
