    Arent these photos too good for such an early period? And they are coloured too..

    I find those pics highly disturbing, they remind me our own complete insignificance in a very sobering way.

    I think thats just because in those days nobody prompted you to say "cheese" or to make a silly face or a lame pose when they took your picture.


    so they all look really somber, serious and eerie
