I feel we need a thread like this as it would be very interesting how people play there campains + see how different factions have devloped. I am going to post mine later today.

this is my only finished campaign on IBFD:RR. eastern roman empire, won in 442AD in winter. I lost hte origional save game, but not before I wrote the equivalent to the Notitia Dignitatum: I had ~46 legions, 30-40 cavalry, and 50-100 Auxilia. Capital (constatntinople), made almost 8000 Denarii a tern. I had war with the Sassanids (in decline), Arabs, Constantini and western romans, Berbers, and Ostrogoths; I had exterminated the Visigoths as a poeple, and had Franks, Burgundians, saxons, vandals, and Langobardi (who were like nomads by then as Allies (not on the map)

casualties(on large size units):

the African campaign: ~1500 men (most from an attack by Berbers)
European rhine campaign: 5-7000 (2000 from a naval convoy being destroyed)
Danube frontier: 4000
Eastern front: +10000 (1000 from one battle alone; a heroic victory, near the city of Hatra)

2 eagles were lost, but later recaptured rom the Ostrogothi and from WRE
enemies:

Visigoths: ~15000 military, 20000 civilians
Ostrogoths: ~5500military, ~2000 civilians
Sassanids: 12000-18000 military, 40000 civilians
WRE: 10000 military, 60000 civilian
Berber: ~700
Arabs: ~1600

this was won without 4tpy scrip...

it wasn't easy though: I had 513 battles fought, of whish 90% were by my personal command. I lost 13 of them (10 naval, 3 land).
how I got this far this quickly is the incredible part: there was a battle or war every turn. I might have to write an AAR on this

yeah, really bloody: most were small engagements though, between 2-400 men in total, but many were fierce affairs.

Ruina Rome latest version is the mod i am playing, with no enhancement pack

I don't understand why I can build the Hadrian's wall in Tingi!!!!!!!!!!!:hmmm:
I have also Imperial roads in Gallia! :hmmm:

And what about the royal roads in Gallia?...I've read the in the Mylae's Buildings add-on it was "FIXED a stupid bug in which roman highways in gaul and spain looked like eastern royal roads"; and this add on should be inserted in the enhancementpack 1 but...

This is my wre campaign as of 431

It has been a challenge getting here. the first thing i did the elevate the financial crunch was to disband all horse-archers and scirmishers this did wonders for money. next i conquered arelate. withdrew all but 2 of my full stacks to italy to fight the visigoths which i was able to destroy. while i was experiencing great success in italy the vandals where hurting my iberian\african provinces. I first lost corbuda then tingi and was suffering constant attacks at cartho nova. I then had to destroy more hordes the constantines horded the alamani while the burgandi attacked also. i destroyed the burgandi but while i was campaigning against them the alamani conquered mediclorian which i took back destroyed them then conquered iberia retook tingi. I then started a campain against constantine and aetius started defending then counterattacking the eastern empire. He was crushed by two better quality stacks but i rebuilt his army and he conqured greece. meanwhile i sent an army from africa to conquer east until i reached egypt where ive dug in to start defending from eastern counterattack. my plan is to conquer the roman empire at its height under trajan. Id also like to say that as you can see in the pic its nice to see the saxons in brition even though im going to go there to grab brition soon.
