If you want an online RPG I guess you could try out Age of Conan.

Call Of Duty 4 is the best online shooter I've ever played, although it took a long time to half decent at it.

Persona 3: FES for PS2 is the best RPG I've played in awhile.

Can't beat an RPG where you continuously shoot yourself in the head in battle to cast magic. Too bad the high-school sim wears thin pretty quickly.

You didn't mention RTS but Company of Heroes and its expansion is pretty great. I've been playing it since the original beta a few summers ago and it's still awesome. Online is incredibly competitive and the single player experience((s) - with the expansion) are cinematic and in some cases, jaw dropping.

Seriously, give it a try.

You might also try out Jade Empire, I picked up the PC version a while ago for just a few euros.

I felt the same. Only it wasn't with Mass Effect, but KotOR (1). I guess KotOR spoiled me so I didn't get the same feeling with ME.

Age of Conan is fun for an mmmorpg.

Its not "fail" at all, its an overall fun game and probably one of the smoothest mmo releases. The only people i've known to dislike the game, of people who play mmorpgs, are carebears who HATE pvp. If you hate player interaction dont play an online game.

Anyways if you want to play an RPG other than what is suggested I would suggest Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines. Its excellent fully patched.

Absolutely agree with Kanaric. It's a great game, smooth release compared to some other MMO's, and amazing PvP.

Eh, I'm actually level 32. Since my computer is just not able to play it properly. It gets annoying when I charge into a mob and when the lag is over I'm a corpse on the ground. Getting an upgrade soon, then I'll renew my subscription.

WoW is over 3 years old, it's obviously a lot more polished than AoC. Give it time. When WoW was first released it had loads of bugs and a lot of people complained.

Well, if you like the first sims then you will like this one also. You could probably find it cheap, especially used.

Plus the released screens of the third one IMO doesn't look much better graphically than the second.

You're basically role-playing a frog that has to avoid obstacles and stuff on his way to, well, where he seeks to arrive. Really fun.

If you haven't already, get the orange box. It's a great bundle of games (Half-Life 2 and Episodes, Team Fortress 2 - the online component, and Portal), and for €40 it's a bargain really.

Battlefield 2 or Battlefield 2142 are both fun if you want an online shooter.

Really I only find online shooters to be fun if your friends play it. Otherwise whats the point in playing a team game where everyone is playing for their own score. That is what Deathmatch is for and if thats what you want get UT

If you can stand the constant achingly whiny accusations of hacking Counter-Strike Source is excellent.

The issue is finding a good server and becoming a regular. Lots of great clans out there host some really good servers. Just surfing around servers is a mess though...really mixed bag of kiddie Admins / hackers / and overall poorly run servers.
