    Default Good animations guide please!

ok so i have heard about you guys needing an animations expert, or at least you need more i think, but i havent found a good BEGGINERS guide to animation for mwt2, so anyone find one? cause i have too much free time and want to be productive with it so i will TRY to become good at animation so i could possiblly make cool animations for you guys, like elves shooting bows sideways once in a while, those huge two handed things that the heavy noldor troops have could use cool animations too!

I don't want to let you down, but it seems to me that becoming good skin, animation and model maker in Total War games might take years. I don't think that your skills are high enaugh for a big mod like this when this mod has been released.

And anyway for first release we probably need only animations for trolls. Rest comes in patches.

P.S. Try to post small questions like this to Ask Questions Here or Third Age General discussion threads.

Try modeling stuff though. Look for the tutorials on this site and look for Unit Makers Tome of Knowledge, and if you want it's a lot easier to model for Oblivion.

No start modding for this game too. We need all the modders we can get, and I'm sure you'll be able to help with my Empire Total War: Zombie mod b4 it comes out.

while we are on the topic of animations, would it be possible to have all elven archers shoot at the same time? that would truly show their dicipline.

I'm not sure, but it would be cool to have a DIFFERENT fire at will command that makes them fire faster but less accurate.

EDIT : COUNT(er) finnally beat me too it. Cant' be done.

It doesn't take years to edit animations. You just need to get a good animation importer/exporter, and start playing around with stuff.

"If ye love wealth greater than liberty,
the tranquility of servitude greater than
the animating contest for freedom, go
home from us in peace. We seek not
your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch
down and lick the hand that feeds you,
and may posterity forget that ye were
    our countrymen."
    -Samuel Adams
