Re: desertion
Easy. Make sure your crusading armies are always headed towards the crusade target.

Re: desertion
i meant for good
say you wanted to sake another one of their settlements on the way, to make them weaker. If you just stop for more than 1 or 2 turns, you get desertion, which is kinda anoying
and i assumed there was some way of edditing the games files to turn it of, or atleast make it very unlikely

Re: desertion
Oh well in that case you need to do this apparently: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...ight=desertion
Although to be fair, doing that amounts to a cheat really. I mean then you can get huge armies with an upkeep of zero with no restrictions at all.

Re: desertion
yeah, but they can't attack another christian army/city, so you can only realy use them againced non-chritians enemies, and in if you think about it, in the crusades, they wouldn't have gone for one city, and one city alone, i'm sure they would have attacked many other settlements on the way, for supplys/money/or just to be able to get past it
thanks for the link anyway
