I never did check the improvements but went under the assumption that patches are good. Patch.

More to the point -- if you use retrofit mod (Kingdoms required) you will be patched thru the improvements in Kindoms (1.4). Consider Retrofit an unoffical patch.

Patching is good. You are then getting what the designers of the game intended.

Protip: You should never NOT patch. ALWAYS patch EVERY game you get. Period.

Note: Retrofit Mod is a great unofficial patch if you have Kingdoms and want to play the Grand Campaign with Kingdoms' extra features.
