Ok so I understand that it was a very very great mod, way too great. But it is just tooo great for me to comprehend it. It starts with the recruiting issues and and sorts of mod and fixes that I shourd updates and I cannot keep up with the right one.

First I got the stainless steel 6.0 part 1 and part 2 both installed.
Then I got the Stainless steel patch 6.1 installed and I did choose Byg's Grim Reallity III, Real Combat&Real Recruitment, and Permanent arrows.

But latter I recognise the issue with unable to recruit high level units. So I go on to look at the updates on the two websites.:
    1. http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=162997
so this page has an attachment: RR and SSTC for SS6.1.zip , so I tried it.
    2. http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=106060
this page also has an attachment and says that I should install this fix IF I HAD STAINLESS STEEL PATCH 6.1 WITH BGRIII. The fix is here: data.zip.

so after installed the file in data.zip. I swear I got it in the right place. I continue with my ongoing campaign and still see that I have 9 turn for the next available feudal knight .

so what is the right fix for this.
how can I check my ZEAL or other things to be sure the fix actually works and I just crew up with my generals???

I'm not sure since I don't use Byg III, but the fixes are perhaps not save game compatible.

Try a new campaign to see if things work there.

themoob is correct. The data.zip patch for Byg's mod is not save game compatible.

As for faction zeal, you can check that in your faction leader's traits.

ok so I try a new campaign after having the date.zip installed and played as france I move my king to Bordeaux, the strongest castle. I still cannot recruit dismounted feudal knight and have to wait 9 turns.

Good things as I press next turn, it reduces to 8. So it was a least an improvement. Last time, it just stay 9 turns all the time. However, it is still extremely low pool. I dont know if the bug is fixed, and it is the case now. so how can I recruit new unit faster???

That would be RR coming into play.

RR aims for a more realistic army composition, in which knights were actually a very small part of the army, they would be support by regular footsoldiers, most being archers. RR reflects this by making knights have a very small recruitment pool, which also better represents that knights just didn't spring out of the ground, they came in small numbers from the nobility once they came of age.

Yeah RR is about realistic Army composition, I love it. As long as you see the turns till decreasing, then the fix worked.
