He asked how many of his friends he killed... I don't he lipped "six" but more like a "ee" reflex.

No, no, I remember it distinctly because it was so funny.
The cop says six, and joker is like "SIX?!?!" as in "wow, man that sucks for you guys!"
As for the greatest superhero movie of all time, while I realize that this movie is much more serious and will probably win FAR more awards, I didn't enjoy it any more than Iron Man. I thought they were both amazing representations of the feel of their books, and I felt both are among the top comic movies ever.
I'll get both on DVD and probably watch both several times.

I'm pretty sure the cop says six and the joker lips six as if he's surprised (obviously he's messing with the guys head)

Oscars all around for this one.
Nolan did well with this one, considering his handful of movies, and especially Memento (which I've still not seen, but heard so much of) that this movie, a Batman movie of all things, could stand so high above everything else this year, even Iron Man, to be the greatest superhero movie of all time, and that's saying something.
Memorable heroes, villains, and outsanding performances all round. This one is pure class and it ain't going down anytime soon.

I have always wondered why the most popular DC characters seem less willing to use lethal force than the most popular marvel ones?
The 4 most popular/iconic marvel heroes I can think of are Spider-man, Iron Man, Wolverine, Captain America and Hulk.
- Wolverine has no problem at all with killing, in fact that's pretty much his preferred method of dealing with troublesome baddies.
- Hulk doesn't seem to have much concern with the wellbeing of those he mauls (nor with the wellbeing of any random passers by).
- Stark will spare people if possible, but he never seems to concerned with the nameless goons he blasts out of the air at 7000 feet.
- Captain America only uses lethal force when absolutely neccessary, but he will still do it. Besides, he fought in WW2, and killed plenty of germans.
- Spider-Man is pretty much the only one with a strict "no killing" policy.

Well, Superman, Batman and Wonderwoman were still in action throughout the 1950's, when Congress went through that huge violence in comic books scare. I always assumed it was a relic of that era. The other characters like Flash and GL came into the already persistent universe those guys setup.
Marvel, by comparison, pretty much invented all their characters in the 60's, where, evidently, you were allowed to kill people.
Has anyone seen it in IMAX? There is one about 20 minutes from our house. I guess it was only filmed in 65mm in six parts, not the whole movie.
Is it worth blowing $30+ on two tickets, as opposed to the regular $15?
I heard Chicago looks great.

From what I have heard, Imax is easily worth it.
Get there early though, so you can get a good seat.
Also, make sure it's a regular Imax (flat screen) and not an omnimax (round screen)

The omnimax is in the Museum of Science and Industry and usually only shows documentaries. This would be a flat screen.
It would probably be worth it for the PQ and sound alone now that I think of it. We don't go to the cinema often though because of the price, and $32 is a lot for us right now.
What would be a good seat? About middle all around? Ive only seen movies at the omnimax...

Now that I read the article posted by Dead Man Wilson, I can seriously see Doctor Fries in the next movie as a sort of tragic villain.
Think about it, you could go into the origins and you don't need the bulky suit for him. Take a look at TAS Fries. He looks menacing with those red goggles.

they shouldn't bring two-face back for the third installment. It would totally ruin the ending of TDK.

The ending left it open for them to use Two Face. They had Dent's memorial, which can be interpreted as them covering up Dent's "death". Maybe they lock him away securely, but he escapes? That could work.
That's five.
As much as you might fancy yourself a critic, you're not.
Maybe TDK's not that great to you, but then again I personally don't care what you think. I don't like you at all, so I don't value your opinion much.
The fact is, TDK is an excellent movie, and is quite possibly the greatest movie of all time. If you deny this, you are only fooling yourself of an inevitable conclusion.
no, if they brought him back, first off, it would come off lame (two fake deaths in a row? boo) and it seems cheap to bring back a character from the dead just to make a third movie.
overall, the idea stinks.
it was a very good movie, and I don't think you'd find many who would deny it, but its all up to personal opinion. The fact is, TDK is an excellent movie, and is quite possibly the greatest movie of all time. If you deny this, you are only fooling yourself of an inevitable conclusion.
