    Default Naming Forts...

    Hi there,

I'm fairly new to modding M2TW, but I do dabble and have been long time lurker on the forums as it is somthingI've been interested in.

I'm looking to see if it's at all possible to add a campaign map displayable text field to a fort in the Britannia campaign so as to give each of them their own name, much like the cities and castles?

Does anyone know if this would be possible and how I could go about doing it? I've had a long look through most of the modding threads and come across nothing that touches on a similar subject.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Cheers GrnEyed...

I thought it may have been possible to add some text infront of the "Irish/English/xxx Fort" description that appears when you hover your mouse over any campaign map fort - possibly by creating multiple instances of {EMT_xxxx_FORT} in expanded.txt for every Fort you have...

...but I don't know how that is called ingame or whether mutliple instances can exist

    e.g.
    {EMT_IRISH_FORT1} Caisheal
    {EMT_IRISH_FORT2} Dundrum Castle
    etc, etc...

    Definately not possible then?

There's no way to assign an EMT string to a particular fort.

"If ye love wealth greater than liberty,
the tranquility of servitude greater than
the animating contest for freedom, go
home from us in peace. We seek not
your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch
down and lick the hand that feeds you,
and may posterity forget that ye were
    our countrymen."
